Happy Tuesday, you guys! I have been LIVING for bright accessories lately. There is something about summer time that makes accessorizing so much more exciting! Woven bags, comfortable slides, and bright jewelry stacks are exactly what I have been loving. I always find myself wearing neutrals and whites in the summer so I can make outfits unique and bright through my accessories! Some of my favorite trends this season include shell jewelry, rainbow accessories, bright bags, straw bags, and slides. I find myself wearing these styles nonstop in the summer and I wanted to share some of my favorites with you all. Below, I am going to break down each category and link my favorite pieces! Hello SHELLS! It is so funny because I used to be obsessed with shells when I was younger. My family lives about 30 minutes north of St. Augustine, Florida and I would always beg my mom to take me to the “Shell Store” there. It was full of all different types of shells and everything beachy – and I don’t think my shell necklace or anklet came off the entire summer. Well, now shells are back and I am loving them even more. I have been finding shell accessories at so many different stores! While I was studying abroad in Greece, every store had shell jewelry in it and it’s safe to say the trend made it back to America!I have found all kinds of cute accessories at all different price points. Some from Amazon, Nordstrom, Bauble Bar, and Revolve. Amazon has a ton of great options for summer jewelry and it is super affordable too. Apart from shells, I have been loving bright colors. Let’s not forget about bags, hats, and hair scarves! These are some of my favorites too. Straw bags have been popular for a while now, and they definitely aren’t going anywhere this summer. They can really take your outfit to a whole new level and that’s what I love about them. I have found a few great ones from Amazon and Shop Bop! I purchased my woven white bag (on the left) in Greece last month and I am obsessed with it! The brand is called Kooreloo and they sell them at Shop Bop and other stores as well. Their bags are the best quality and come in so many fun colors for summer! I totally recommend this brand. Apart from bags, hats are probably my hands down favorite accessory of the summer, especially with the Florida humidity and rain! Brixton is my favorite hat brand because they fit so well and come in a few different colors and patterns. I wear my Brixton hat ALL the time, and it was a life saver in Greece. I wear a size Medium and it fits great and is comfortable too. Lastly, lets talk hair scarves. Hair scarves are a great accessory because they can be used for multiple purposes. You can style your hair so many different ways with them or you can tie them around a purse to give it some personality. SHOES, a girls best friend right?! I basically live in sandals year round so my summer shoes are my year long shoes. A trend I love right now is slides! They go with so many different outfits- casual or dressy- and they are so easy to throw on and run out the door. I love woven slides (who would’ve guessed!!?) and espadrilles are a favorite of mine too! Wedges are also a summer essential because they can elevate any outfit and of course, make your legs look 10 times longer! Marc Fischer makes my all time favorite wedges because they are so cute and SO comfortable. I’m not kidding when I tell you I could probably walk miles in those shoes! When it comes to flip flops and sandals, the Tory Burch Miller sandal will always have my heart. They come in so many colors but the patent sand is my personal favorite. These shoes can be worn everywhere and with everything. I have worn my Miller Sandals to basically any type of event, from fishing to Disney World to birthday dinner’s. They are truly the best! Miller Sandals are so comfortable and last forever. The quality is amazing and they never hurt my feet at all! I think cute sneakers are perfect for summer also. They can be worn with t-shirt dresses, denim shorts, and of course, leggings! I purchased a pair of Golden Goose sneakers about a year ago and have loved them. They are definitely an investment since they are on the pricier side, but I have gotten my money’s worth out of them. I wear them all the time and they give my outfit such a different sense of style than my typical sandals or slides. I have found some Golden Goose dupes with excellent reviews, so of course I will be linking those below. They are around 20-40 dollars and look so cute! She IN has a ton of Golden Goose dupes and the reviews are SO good. I am definitely adding the leopard print ones to my cart, LOL!
